About Eddy

Eddy's expertise is problem solving and achieving results for clients. He is equally at home at the negotiating table, drafting complex contractual documentation and in the court room - having a deserved reputation for his communication and drafting skills and for being a fearless advocate when the need arises.

Eddy the son of Holocaust survivors was a child migrant to Australia. He was educated in Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Government and Public Administration and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Sydney. After a short period as an academic he commenced practice as a lawyer in NSW in 1973.

Eddy is admitted to practice in NSW, ACT, QLD and the Federal Courts. He has been involved in some major developments in the legal system, particularly in relation to the situation of the indigenous peoples of Australia. His 1999 NSW Law Society Pro Bono People's Choice Award for his work with indigenous people was a fitting testimony to his long years of service and commitment.

With over 35 years of law practice and leading an expert team of dedicated law professionals, Eddy founded Eddy Neumann Lawyers in November 2006.

About Jacqueline

For the last 9 years Jacqueline has put her legal energy into family law. She has developed diverse expertise in all areas of family law including property adjustments, parenting issues, child support, spousal maintenance, prenuptial agreements and divorce as well as de facto property settlements.

Jacqueline is committed to resolving clients needs through negotiation and mediation, however should litigation become necessary, she has extensive experience in running matters in the Family Court of Australia. Her satisfied clients testify to her ability to do the best for her clients. She is able to strip away the mystique of the law so that her clients can understand what is happening.

Admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1996, Jacqueline holds a Diploma of Law and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in European Linguistics.

Jacqueline can speak fluent French.

About Rosemary

Prior to practicing as a solicitor Rosemary worked in the human rights policy area, particularly in relation to the rights of older people such as the elimination of age discrimination, compulsory retirement and nursing home bonds. Her early legal practice included native title and refugee claims as well contested estates and Rosemary continues to act for people from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.

Rosemary understands that each individual's situation is unique. She also understands that grief, trauma and stress can occur following the death of someone close and she has the life and professional experience and ability to act with sensitivity.

Rosemary applies her extensive experience in acting for executors, administrators, beneficiaries and other persons close to the deceased to focus on the result sought and the best way to achieve it. She enables her clients to make informed choices all along the way. In contested estates, she has the expertise to guide clients through mediations to reach settlements in what might otherwise have been complex and expensive court hearings as well as to act in those hearings where necessary.

Rosemary was admitted to practice in 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences.

Anne has considerable experience and expertise in the related areas of property law, family law and wills and estates. As an experienced property lawyer she has acted and acts in relation to residential and commercial conveyancing, property development, retirement village conveyancing, mortgage transactions, leasing and the sale and purchase of businesses.

As an experienced family lawyer, Anne has acted and acts for clients in property adjustments, children's issues, prenuptial agreements and with issues arising from de facto relationships. She also has a wealth of experience in the drafting of wills and disputed estates, probate matters and the administration of estates.

Anne provides prompt expert advice with a sensible and realistic approach to the resolution of even the most sensitive of matters. With her inherent calmness and attention to detail, Anne is a client focused professional providing services for all her client's legal needs. Anne's reputation, experience, expertise and practical approach often enables her to bring the parties to a resolution without the stress and expense of a defended hearing.

Admitted to practice as a lawyer in 1994, Anne holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree. Anne worked as a paralegal for 7 years before obtaining her degree.
